The main focus of this site is sustainable movement. As millions of us line up for knee and hip replacements, I am here to say that osteoarthritis is extremely avoidable. Our whole society is in a structural lock down movement pattern; gravity can be utilized to reflexively activate the deepest muscles to float the bones.

We did it! . 01/02/2010
The dvd, Making Peace With Gravity, is finally completed and going on sale! It took almost forever but we hammered it out; a step by step approach to learning to harness gravity instead of fighting it. Gravitational harmony is an idea whose time has come. Now you can see how the body's puzzle peices fit together to allow deep relaxation in movement. The back, hip and shoulder muscles do not have to tighten up against gravity. Empower yourself with knowlege and understanding how the body responds to gravity.

News after a long break . May 12, 2009
OK, I was way off about how long this video project would take, but I really like the long awaited animations. We have most of the footage necessary to start the final edit. I apologize but recognise that the devotion of lots of time in the past few years has led to numerous discoveries about the body in movement. The process of reshaping the connective tissue web has become a simplified, straight forward series of movements. Reshaping the muscle web is preparation for some extreme relaxation exercises and graceful movements.<><> I have been studying Chi lel qigong for about four years. Recently I had the honor of attending a Medicine Begins With Me weekend taught by Master Frank Chan and Dr. Eva Lew. This is by far the most accessable and powerful energy work that I have found.<><> More soon. Thanks for clicking in.

It looks like we are moving again on the video project; the video got held up when the animation process bogged down. I have been productive; the movements are more refined than ever. The animations will clarify how simply it all comes together when you understand the issues. Check out Brian Rothbart to learn more about how feet support thw whole skeleton or not. Check out getearthed.com to learn about earthing. The earth is the ultimate anti-oxidant.

Here we are going into December; the video has proven to be a bigger project than anticipated. The footage of the numerous models looks great; we are just about through shooting. The animations should be worth waiting for when completed; they will clarify the various choices in movement. I steadfastly hold the vision of this project being completed. For the time being, I encourage you to walk with the top of your head leading and spine following. Use your abdominal muscles to hold your back and pelvis back. Do not allow your pelvis to come forward, straight down under your head, until you want to stop. Experiment with the least tipping of the head at the top of the neck that creates the controlled fall.

OK, it's mid September and I decided to produce a pro quality video to present the movements and exercises. The content of the remake was good but it was still just me, sweating under the lights in my music room.

We got started about a month ago and it is going well. We built a deck with a dance floor overlooking a view of Sawmill peak in Paradise California. Numerous folks are learning and demonstrating the moves. We are also getting footage of everyday life and constructing anatomical animations to illustrate the principles. We are going all out with high tech animations.

I hope to have the completed dvds by Thanksgiving. Thank you for your patience, here is a little glimpse: Practice locking you arches by pressing your shin bones over the midline of your feet while pressing the whole balls of your feet down. Feel your arches lock as your heels lift off the ground. Put your heels back down but keep the arch lock; keep the tension in your feet and calf muscles. Then feel spinal unity by aligning pelvis and head; head over pelvis, pelvis under head, both over feet. The spine is a tall stack of bones supported by a web of muscles connecting ribs, pelvis, hips, shoulders and head, carry it lightly.

We are still working on the new and improved version of the video. We have now reshot quite a bit and changed the format a little. We are adding a goals and objectives list at the beginning of each section. The new footage is of the latest version of the exercises.

The exercises are a wonderful opportunity to explore our extremely sophisticated web of muscle and bone based pressure distribution systems. The effortless functioning that occurs as the five web systems activate interdependently without interfering with each other is far beyond anything I had dreamed of finding when I started my search for how the back works over thirty years ago. The beauty of the simplicity of the bone alignment that activates the joint protecting decompression response of the musculature is coming through much more clearly this time. Thank you for your patience.

News . Mid January
We have been revising the video already; no one who watched the original copy showed me the exercises done safely or showed that they understood how it all works. Back to the drawing board! Now we are putting in slow motions and more detailed information about what, why and how. I am sorry for the delays; it is looking much better now and we are getting close to completion.

Twenty five years of development, a year in production, and we have finally completed the Postural Rejuvenation DVD. It is very exciting to have had this come through me. Thank you to everyone and all that participated. I am honored.

As far as I know, this is the first time anywhere that a concise, complete and clear system for efficient, safe and coordinated movement has been offered. This video contains the keys to structural health, accommodating joint safety and longevity, graceful movement, and physical energy.

The DVD is designed with a practice menu so that a given exercise may be repeatedly viewed to master the essential skills. Postural Rejuvenation is systematic guide to movement grace, strength and ease that your body will love.

News . May 5, 2006
Making this video has been a tedious process; we will reshoot one more segment, but it is coming out good. I know that many knees and hips are wearing out; we apologize for taking so long but we want to get it right to help save as many joints as possible.
